With a welcome assist from two CVS pharmacists, Sitora Muhamedora and Kianna Sebrell, over 50 residents of Tulpehocken Terrace, Myerstown, plus Community Homes staff members Charlie Rush (CEO), Tammy Miller (Executive Administrative Assistant), Jane Keller (Director of Resident Services), and Charlotte McNamara (Site Administrator), received Covid-19 vaccine shots on Sunday, January 31st.

Despite bad weather conditions, CVS contractors visited Maple Terrace, Hill Terrace and Oak Terrace and administered the vaccines to residents in those buildings on the morning of February 2nd.

Other vaccine sessions will be scheduled in the coming weeks at the other Community Homes of Lebanon County resident buildings – Willow Terrace Poplar Terrace, both in Lebanon.

“We are very pleased that CVS has agreed to work with us on this very important safety issue for our residents. We have had many expressions of thanks for this initiative,” says Community Homes CEO Charlie Rush, “Members of our staff also were vaccinated, for their own safety, as well as to show the resident community that we should all take advantage of receiving the vaccine without fear.”
